Who? ZooBrew is located in the sunny south of France, near Montpellier. The brewers attended the prestigious Heriot-Watt brewing school in Scotland and traveled the world. Their beers all have an animal theme, and a portion of the profits go to nature preservation.
Why us? Big balls, that’s what attracted us to them. It was one of the first French brewers to cross our path and make delicious beer. And from the south, we might add, not close to the ‘safe zone’ that is the Belgian border.
Kristof’s favorite beer: “King Louie, a red rye double IPA at 7.5%. That beer tastes so good paired with an oyster, you just have to try it.”
Joos’ favorite beer: “Nautilus, a 4% gose. With that savory touch of sea salt and the fresh citrus aromas, the whole thing is beautifully balanced.”
